Dr. I-Ming Hsing is the Professor and the former Head of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research interests lie in the interface of molecular engineering, materials engineering, molecular biology, data science, and healthcare, in particular in the areas of nucleic acid-based bioengineering and disposable, wearable and skin-adherent biosensors. Current Ph.D. student in bioengineering (HKPFS awardee, 2022). Zibin obtained his BSc in bioengineering at The University of Melbourne. His research interests: Machine Learning based- wearable heart health devices (ECG), small molecule binding mechanisms, biomedical signal processing, CRISPR-based technology with molecular dynamics and simulations.

Yanan Li is currently a PhD student in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). She obtained her Master's degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2022. Her research interests lie in the area of nucleic acid detection and point-of-care testing (POCT).
