Dr. I-Ming Hsing is the Professor and the former Head of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research interests lie in the interface of molecular engineering, materials engineering, molecular biology, data science, and healthcare, in particular in the areas of nucleic acid-based bioengineering and disposable, wearable and skin-adherent biosensors. Bachelor of clinical pharmacology at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in 2020, and Master of analytical chemistry at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2021. Starting PhD. study in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from 2022. Research Interest: non-invasive diagnostics technology, skin-surface diagnostics.

Current Ph.D. student in bioengineering (HKPFS awardee, 2022). Zibin obtained his BSc in bioengineering at The University of Melbourne. His research interests: Machine Learning based- wearable heart health devices (ECG), small molecule binding mechanisms, biomedical signal processing, CRISPR-based technology with molecular dynamics and simulations.

Yanan Li is currently a PhD student in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). She obtained her Master's degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2022. Her research interests lie in the area of nucleic acid detection and point-of-care testing (POCT).

Xiaolong got his BSc and MSc in Chemistry at Shenzhen University. His research interest: CRISPR-based diagnostics such as virus detection and SNP genotyping, and other application based on CRISPR.

Xuemeng is currently a PhD student in Chemical and Biological Engineering and her research interest is the development of biomaterials for skin management.

Bsc in Donghua University and Mphil in Xi’an Jiaotong University. Research area mainly focused on applying bioactive materials for skincare and chronic wound healing.

Khanthapak got a BEng in Biomedical Engineering from Mahidol University and an MSc(Eng) in Microelectronic Systems from the University of Liverpool. Currently, he is studying bioengineering at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research interests are bioelectronics and machine learning in biosensing.
